Welcome to PhDeets, the podcast for people who are currently doing or considering doing a PhD in the UK. My name is Nicol and I have just started a PhD program at King’s College London.
Katie
I'm Katie, and I'm six months into the first year of my part-time PhD, looking at engagement with remote measurement technologies for monitoring health symptoms.
Carolin
And I'm Carolin and I'm contemplating if a PhD is the right next step for me.
Katie
We'll be speaking to guests who are fellow PhD students, supervisors, academics, researchers, career advisors, as well as people from the industry about various topics relevant to the lives of current or potential PhD students.
Carolin
We'll be talking about how to decide which PhD is right for you, application and interview advice we wish we had how to move on after failure, navigating the relationship with your supervisor and more. We are based at the Institute of psychiatry, psychology and neuroscience at King’s College London and work in mental health research.
Nicol
